Ryan Weideman Street Photographer and Taxi Driver

Ryan Weideman (born 1941)  came to New York as a Photographer in 1980, planning on focusing on Street Photography in the city. He started driving a Yellow Tax Cab to generate a steady income with the cab and its passengers becoming the subjects in his street photography. Ryan drove a cab in NYC until 2016 and published a book of his work in 1991. Examples of his black and white portraits are included in American Museum collections including Brooklyn Museum and The Art Institute of Chicago

Early photos were just portrait shots of the passengers. Later shots included Weideman too.

Martin Wilson - Interesting Approach to Sequence Photography

 Martin Wilson takes sequences of carefully posed and considered photos. His Artworks or final images are made using his Contact Sheets blown up large scale. This is slow and careful and very methodical






He has not published any work for about 7 years on his website, but his work in incredible and an interesting take on sequence or joiner photography
