Khayelitsha township, Cape Town, South
Africa
This installation was left in Khayelitsha, a
township in Cape Town, last year. The settlement is home to around 500,000
people and experiences many problems such as poverty, crime and a high rate of
HIV infection - an estimated 16% of the population. Life can be tough,
especially for children.

Where did you get the figures? I'd love to do my own photography project with them!
ReplyDeleteThese aren't our photos, examples by other artists to inspire. Our students use model railway figures which you can pick up pretty cheap online or in model shops
